A woman was taken to Lithgow Hospital on Sunday afternoon suffering from significant injuries she sustained after being thrown from her horse, then kicked in the face by it.

NSW Ambulance paramedics were called to the scene at a property near Little Hartley at about 1.30pm on Sunday afternoon.
They were told the 36-year-old woman, from North Richmond was thrown from her horse and landed heavily before sustaining a kick to the face from the animal.
Paramedics stabilised her on scene, before transporting her to Lithgow Hospital for further treatment. She was reported to be in a stable condition upon arrival.
