Golfers must have thought they were contesting the US Open major event with some pin placements in the near impossible positions.
The A grade winner was Harry "H Bomb" Bender (scr) who recorded a par round 72 to give him 36 points. His round was all the more impressive considering he double bogeyed the par five 10th hole.
He was not on his own with the 10th pin placement causing 90 percent of the field unable to keep their putts near the hole with many rolling off the green.
Runner up to Bender was John Chadwick (4) on 33 points and the best scratch score went to Steve Hall (scr) who also had a miss on the 10th and finished on 32 points.
In B grade, Al Mostyn (14) was best with 35 points followed by runner up Greg Guest (12) and the best scratch score went to Dave Warren (10) on 23 points.
