CEO and nurse Sonia Jones said it was a time to celebrate some more unsung heroes of our workplace - the Administrative Officers that keep the team afloat.
"These support staff often slip under the radar both in and out of the workplace. Yet without our administration teams, we would all be lost in a sea of unfinished paperwork and unscheduled meetings," she said.
"Eternally organised and always proactive, admin professionals can be relied on to pick up on the little things most of us do not even notice.
"It would be completely impossible for Lithgow Community Private to function without every individual who works behind the scenes to make sure they deliver the best service possible to our nurses, visiting doctors and patients and we're incredibly grateful for your dedication."
The event publicly acknowledged Diana Harris, the Office Coordinator for the specialist Medical Centre and the longest staff member of 18 years as well as Maureen Burley and Leanne Williams who were not at the last celebration in May.
Maureen Burley who works as an Administrative Officer in the Day Surgery Unit said she loved working at LCP because everyone shares the same vision and are dedicated to the organisation.
"I enjoy working in a team environment, our combined skills at LCP make for an awesome workplace and I have made some amazing friendships," she said.
"I love the people I work with and I enjoy what I do.
"I grew up in the Lithgow area, I love my hometown and the community spirit. I believe the community is the lifeblood of a successful organisation."
Administration Trainee in the Day Surgery Unit Courtney Baxter said she loved working at LCP with the friendly staff.
"I love learning new things daily, the ongoing learning and staff is a real highlight for me," she said.

"Everyone I've met has been very kind and welcoming to me.
"After my traineeship I would love to continue working with the people at Lithgow Private."
The day itself, originally Secretaries Day, was born from a post-World War II skills shortage among administration staff. The National Secretaries Association created the Day to encourage more recognition and support for administration workers in the hope to attract more people to the profession.
The role of the modern secretary or administration officer, however, stems from the 'secretum' of Medieval times - a trusted confidant of the court who could always be relied upon to keep a secret.
Ms Jones said these days they rely on their administration staff more than ever, so it was super important to make sure they know they are appreciated.
"For LCP administrative professionals have proved there is no challenge they cannot overcome," she said.
"Our administrative professionals are the anchor to our office environment.
"With support staff on deck, we can rest assured that the ship will weather any storm and for that, we thank them."
