Beryl Evans spoke of Margaret being a great bowler with her friend Mary Penn when they won lots of events around the district for a lot of years.
Margaret was well respected and loved by all her team members and was always ready to give advice and help to encourage new players.
Special guests on the day were former players Barbara Bender, Betty Lothian and Dawn Frazer.

The day was held in cold and windy conditions with the winners being Cath Kenniff and Wendy Constable with Sue Metcalf and Beryl McDonald, Cheryl Schram and Dianne Crook and in fourth place Ruth Harries and Glenda Anthes.
It was a very sad day but a wonderful celebration of her life and her contribution to her club bowls and her many friends.
We all miss you so very much Margaret.
