That's how certain members of the Parkes Hockey side felt about the referee when they went down 3-1 against Workman's Club Storm on Saturday, May 22.
The Storm who started off slow, managed to score in the first quarter to take an early lead before Nathan Marshall backed it up in the first two minutes of the second quarter, to extend their advantage.
Captain coach David Marshall said his side played well in patches, but once again they started off slow.
"The last few games we started off slow which has been disappointing but I think as the game rolled on we started controlling the ball a lot better," he said.
But Parkes wasn't going down easy and got themselves a penalty corner, and Mitch Townsend managed to capitalise on their luck.
In the third quarter, Lithgow showed their technique and with some clever play of the ball and small passes, it allowed them to score. It would also be the last goal of the match.
Marshall said that a problem with basics is what let his side down.

"Especially in the first quarter, in the second and third quarter we started playing a little bit shorter and started making more inroads in their defence, but I think our basics is something we have to work on," he said.
Tensions then reached boiling point between the two teams with words being exchanged between the team members, before Parkes player Ian Westlott was sin binned for how he spoke to the referee.
Marshall said his side played well two weeks ago against Bathurst St Pats in the second half.
"We've done the same here but we need to get our first half up to scratch if we are going to improve ourselves, so I'm a bit disappointed in our basics today," he said.
The continued attack from Workman's Club Storm proved hard for Parkes to contain and Nathan Marshall was able to take two goals with Greg Nelson taking one for himself.
"I thought Lachi Wilson played well in the centre and Nathan Marshall played well as striker as well and Greg Nelson in mid field especially did a lot of work in the mid field for us," Marshall said.
"But yeah there were no real standouts, it was a team effort, everyone sort of just plugged away, it was just one of those games where both teams were struggling with their basics I thought."
Marshall said he was just happy his side got the win.
"That was good, so we will move on to next week and we will be working on our basic skills at training I think to hopefully get us through."
