IT was a day of family fun and the perfect way to spend school holidays as children and their parents gathered at the grounds of Fatima Hall on Wednesday, April 7.
Lithgow Cares and Lithgow City Council came together to put on a free, family fun day in the Bowenfels community from 10am-1pm.
There were plenty of activities with face painting, jumping castles, a petting zoo and games on offer.

The Lithgow Lions Club were also on site to cook up a delicious barbecue for everyone.
There was also a chance to get this year's flu shot with a set up in the hall.
