The five pre kinder students were joined by 2020 kindergarten students to enjoy a picnic in the sun with Pete the Platypus.
They enjoyed hot chocolates, fairy bread, fruit bowls and jelly as they laughed and played together.
"It's been a great day and we were just really lucky with COVID-19 restrictions that we could even have a transition class this year," teacher Veronica Slaven said.

"It's a really good program because it sets the kids up for next year and they know what to expect and become familiar with the school and it alleviates all that stress and anxiety."
The transition students were given there certificates and a bag full of goodies including their very own school hat for next year.
The students also received bubbles, for a very special reason.
"These are because you all blew me away," Ms Slaven said.
