
A seven-year-old boy has died after being found unconscious at the bottom of Jellybean Pool in Glenbrook.

NSW Police reported the boy died shortly on arrival at Nepean Hospital after being rushed there earlier in the afternoon.
The boy's parents called emergency services around 2.30pm on Sunday, November 15, reporting the child had been missing for almost 30 minutes.

The child was pulled from the water at 2.45pm by family members and CPR was initiated by officers from Blue Mountains Police Area Command, the Dog Unit and Rescue Squad before NSW Ambulance paramedics took over.
A rescue helicopter was deployed and winched a medical team to the scene.
A report is being prepared for the coroner.
