This week's event was a two ball stableford aggregate and it was a case of "the early birds get the worms" with Harrington who plays off 7 and Wheeler (17) posting a good score of 78 points.
A score that stood throughout the day with Wheeler the dominant partner recording 42 points by himself while Harrington had a commendable 36 points.
Runners up Paul Bosman (8) and Ray Thompson (22) finished four behind the leaders with a score of 74 points.
They counted out three other teams that also finished on 74 to take the vouchers.
The best scratch score went to low markers Steve Hall and Damien Marjoram with 149 off the stick.

Nearest to the pins went to Mitch Luka who was on target with two and Max Nightingale, Graham Dean and Ross Harrington.

Wednesday nine hole competition (14/10) winner: Darren Healey 24 points. Runner up: Leo Murnane 22 ocb and third Carlos Garibotto 22.
Vouchers went down to those with 18 points and better and they were Trevor Cameron, Ken Mitchell, Jeff Geddes, Dave Muir, Chris Goodsell, Al Mostyn, Ricky Cohen, John Wright, Ken Durie and Glen Newton.
Nearest to the pins were Luke Sheppeard and Trevor Cameron.
Friday nine hole competition (16/10) winner: John Bird 27 points.
Vouchers went down to those with 22 points and better and they were Brian Giblett, Jeff Geddes and Gary Marshall.Nearest to the pin was Jeff Geddes.
