Lithgow's sense of humour
You might not know Billy Cambridge but we can guarantee you may have seen him and his mates hanging out the front of Blue Bird cafe each morning for a coffee and a yarn.
Today was a little different though, Billy rocked up to his usual watering hole to find a poster in the window near his favourite spot.
The poster read 'Billy Cambridge University: Table of knowledge'.
Billy posted about the funny scenario on Facebook saying that he was happy the community had a good sense of humour.
The Lolly Bug thanks a friend
The Lolly Bug recently put out a post on their Facebook page thanking their friends and customer John, more affectionately known as 'Barnsey'.
According to the social media post, Barnsey arrives every morning, often before the staff arrive themselves and while he is waiting for his morning coffee he brings in the bing, tidies the car park of any litter before he then helps the staff set up by taking out the open signs and other bits and pieces they display on the verandah.
"We have never asked him to help us, he simply does this out of the kindness of his heart, we are grateful for this sweet man making our mornings easier," the post read.
"Thank you Barnsey - the world needs more people like you."
Lotto Wins
The region saw two lotto wins this week, the first was from a Katoomba man while the other came for a lucky Oberon woman.
A Katoomba man admitted he's walking straight out of work so he can go home and break the news to his wife they're now multi-millionaires after winning more than $6 million in Monday's Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
"OH my god! I am shaking!"
That was the reaction from an Oberon woman who found out Monday afternoon that she had won the $200,000 first prize in today's Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
