Last Saturday, August 1 it was Gary's turn to take the honours when he took out the A grade major voucher following on his son's C grade win the previous week.
In tough conditions due to the heavy rain during the week which left the course very soggy, Wallace finished with 37 points to count out runner up Rod Bright who also carded 37 points.
Best A grade scratch score went to Bill Oldfield with a 72.
In B grade, the winner was Don Farnsworth, also with a score of 37 points.

It was a big day for Farnsworth who also picked up $250 when his ball finished 39cms from the Pro Pin on the fourth.
Coincidentally after many months of the Pro pins not being won, a second Pro Pin was won on the day with Jason Murray also picking up $250 when his shot on the ninth finished 78cms from the cup.
