Despite picking up a 5 and a 4, the lead was too much with Jackson and Alexander finishing the game off for a 29-16 victory.
In the socials Judy Egan, Peter Match and Craig Pugsley defeated Dave Nunan, Ron Vidler and Donna Coupland with a 31-7 score line.
In a game pairs, Peter Piggott teamed with Portland's Ken Clarke against Pommie Williams and Kim Alexander in a very tight game.
