Excellent service has always been the focus at the Lithgow dealership and receiving the acknowledgement from Toyota Australia was the pinnacle, according to dealer principal Rhys Bennett.
"This is the first time we've received the state's highest award.
"We have previously been close but it's such a difficult award to win, it's easy to miss out by a fraction," he said.
Mr Bennett said the secret to success was offering the best experience for their customers.
"We offer the best experience we can to each and every person who visits us. We treat them like a guest in our own home," he said.
Lean and Bennett employ eight mechanics who service and repair over 600 vehicles every month.

"Our mechanics use the latest diagnostic tools available and are highly trained to deliver excellent service and repair work," Mr Bennett said.
He said in addition to the recent award, Lean and Bennett's service advisors were also awarded as the best Toyota advisors in the state.
"The Service Team at Lean and Bennett Toyota is lead by Kylie Kemp who was appointed two years ago.
"Since this time, she has won a number of Toyota awards for excellence in this role as she continues to lead the team from strength to strength," he said.
In addition, Kylie is the first female Service Manager to win NSW Toyota Service Excellence.
"We are very proud of her taking the lead on this award, especially as she is the first female to do so in this industry," Mr Bennett said.
