Scoring was again difficult with heavy fairways and strong winds that kept the scoring down with the top score of the day being 37 points.
That score belonged to Geoff Thompson who showed the benefits of walking instead of his usual practice of riding in a buggy.
Thompson took out the best B grade stableford and also the best grade scratch with a 84. He had to survive a countback with runner up Pat Wall who also carded 37 points.
A grade also needed countbacks with Dave Warren counting out runner up Gary Wallace with both golfers carding 36 points.
Best scratch score went to Bill Oldfield, who shot a 70 a two under par score for the second week in a row.
