So how did this this 19-year-old end up on the pages of Elle and Vogue?
Bethany was born in the Newcastle area but her Lithgow connections run deep.
She is the daughter of David and Agnes Rosewarne, both of whom grew up in Lithgow and moved to Newcastle to pursue their careers after their marriage.
Now as we know opportunity does sometimes come knocking when it's least expected and that opportunity came knocking for Bethany.
Talent scouts really do exist and life changed for Bethany when she was spotted last year by an agent for an Adelaide based modelling agency and invited to an audition.
Her first modelling appearance was in the upmarket Vogue Australia' after her selection by the head of Burberry, Ricardo Tisci, as a 'future face'.
The Vogue article centred around eight young women who are 'set to define a new look (in fashion modelling) and are on the brink of their careers'.
With the priceless exposure in Vogue Bethany was put in touch with agencies around the world, in cities including Los Angeles, Paris and Milan.
This has already led to a contract with Ave Model Management in Singapore and she travelled there to pursue her new found dreams.
While there she appeared in the fashion pages of Elle and modelled for several local brands.
This exciting time was not the way Bethany had expected to spend her pre university gap year after completing high school.
But just as new opportunities were opening up the COVID-19 virus made its unwelcome appearance and Bethany was forced to cut short her Singapore plans and return home.
Since returning home and with the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 Bethany has decided to begin her university studies in Bachelor of Health Sciences, mastering in Nutrition, Health Promotion and Psychology.
But once the pandemic ends her courses allow her to continue her studies on line while enjoying the flexibility of continuing to travel and work overseas.
There may well be a big world out there for Bethany Rosewarne.
Proud Lithgow grandparents keenly watching her progress are Brian and Julie Rosewarne, of Hepburn Street, and Andrew and Renata Drabot, of Protea Avenue, as well a numerous extended family members.
