A Lemnos Street resident was "disgusted and disheartened" to wake up to the damage of her letterbox.
"I like many others took a candle and stood beside my letterbox in the morning at 5.55am but I was horrified to see the damage that had been done to my letterbox.
"After I showed my respects to our troops, and the sun came up, I could see more damage along my street," she said.

"Anzac Day means so much to me as I know it does for so many people and for some idiot to do this on a morning that was special and meant to be respectful was certainly disappointing," the resident said.
She said despite the disrespectful scenes, it was heartwarming to see so many candles, wreaths and Australian flags on the day.
