Although the club is shut, golfers are still able to continue and enjoy their sport in these challenging times which enable them to still exercise and play in the open air environment.
The event on Saturday was the monthly medals and it was a big day for young Mitchell Wallace.
Playing in his first competition, Mitchell showed great maturity to play some good golf in the very tough conditions to come in with a score of 72 nett to see him win the C grade voucher and the grade monthly medal.
Runner up was Mick Stafford on 76 nett with Rob George taking out the best scratch score with a 97.
Winner of A grade and also the medal was Max McCann with a very good 70 nett. Runner up was Anthony Boza with 71 ocb.
Best scratch score was Steve Hall on 71.
B grade, saw medal winner Dave Hicks return the best stroke handicap score of the day with a 68 nett.
Dean Stafford was runner up on 71 nett who also recorded the best scratch score with a 81.
There were no nearest to the pin awards in a bid to cut down on the handling pins and markers.
Those to win vouchers were Shane Monaghan, Damien Marjoram, Eli Felton, Graham Dean, Lleyton Guest, John Bird, Tallan Egan, Dave Thompson, John Murnane, Harry Bender, Chris Neville, Troy Luka, Scott Hunter, Brock Egan, Darren Hunter, Ian Downey, Justin McCann, Don Wolfenden, Kyle Egan, Blake Bender and Kobe Hunter.

The winner of the Wednesday, March 25 nine hole competition was Dave Thompson on 26 points.
Runner up was Warren Kennedy on 25 points and third was Don Lovett on 23 ocb. Voucher winners: Mark Willmott, Brian Quick, Don Farnsworth, Max Nightingale, Luke Bennett, Paul Stewart, Craig Pugsley, Peter Willmott and Les Barnes 19 ocb.
The winner of the Friday, March 27 nine hole competition was Harry Bender on 26 points.Voucher winners included Jeff Geddes and Tallan Egan. Vouchers cut out on 22 ocb.
