Coronavirus continues to impact on toilet paper stocks across Australia and Lithgow City Council would like to urge all residents and businesses to be cautious about what they're flushing down the toilet.
Items such as baby wipes, paper towel or similar items are not suitable to flush down toilets and should only be disposed of in the rubbish.

Whilst many of these products are labelled "flushable", these products do not break down and cause blockages with the network which result in overflows from Council's sewerage network, and cause sewerage to surcharge within private property and in some instances within the house.
