Lithgow Show Society will be offering free entry into the 2020 Lithgow Show after they were successful in receiving a $30,000 grant as part of the Bushfire Community Resilience and Economic Recovery fund.

Originally the group was going to only offer free entry to people with a Lithgow Government Area postcode, but soon realised that would be too hard to police.
"We are very happy to offer free gate entry to our 2020 show, we hope it will get more people enticed to come and see what amazing things we have to offer," Lithgow Show Society secretary Vanetta Renshaw said.

Lithgow Show will take place on Friday, March 20 from 2pm until 10pm and Saturday, March 21 from 10am until 10pm at Tony Luchetti Showground.
On Sunday, March 22 equestrian events will take place from 8am until 2pm with free entry also available.
If you wish to enter the show in fine arts, photography, fresh produce, needlework, cooking, jams or more, you have until 6pm on Wednesday, March 18 to get your entries in.
