It was the Cock o' the Walk two ball best ball championship.
The event has been in progress for a number of months and after good wins through the preliminary rounds the finalists were the teams of Geoff Thompson and Dave Thompson (no relation) and the father and son combination of Darren and Kobe Hunter.
It was a quality final and after a close affair it was the Thompson's who triumphed making it back to back Cock o' the Walk titles for the successful pairing.
"We have combined well right through the rounds and we again gelled well in the final," Geoff Thompson said.

After nine holes, the Thompson's were two up with the Hunters trying to peg back the lead on the back nine but found but it difficult to make any headway.
The champions were two holes up with two to play after 16 holes when Kobe Hunter won the 17th to give his team a chance of a draw and send it into extra holes.
But any chance of extra holes were snuffed out when Geoff Thompson who had a shot on the hole made a good putt on the final hole to make the final score two up.
The champions now have their sights on making it a trifecta of wins.
