Portland's Crystal Theatre opened its doors for the 44th annual Portland Art Show on Friday, March 6.

Doors opened from 6pm as guests and artists filled the venue and took in the colourful and creative art.
This year's theme was '2020 vision' and 350 pieces of artwork were on display.
The evening was officially opened by Portland Art Society publicity officer Rich Evans who thanked and welcomed everyone for attending.
"We have a great turnout for the first night of the exhibition and it's a great show with fantastic works on display," he said.
Martin O'Connell from The Foundations Portland was also invited to open the exhibition and said he was impressed with the talent in the room.

"It's an absolute great credit to the Portland Art Society of what they deliver here.
"It's great work and this art show goes from strength to strength every year," he said.
Portland Art Society chairperson Sue Banning said there had been plenty of ups and downs over the 44 years but Portland continued to come out on top.
"44 years is a good effort, it shows the resilience of the Portland people," she said.
The Portland Art Prize sponsored by The Foundations was then awarded.
The Ron Bidwell first prize went to Sybil Parker, with Samantha Murray securing the Mary Hampton second prize.
The Drawing Prize sponsored by Jo Pemm and Leslie O'Shay went to Nicki Burns for her "extraordinary artwork".
Mr Evans wanted to thank the committee, sponsors and artists for their support of the event.
Portland Art Show will run all weekend from March 6 to March 8.
