The Lithgow Lions Club has raised $75,000 for Lithgow residents that have been affected by the Gospers Mountain Fire.

Members of the Lions Club started a fundraiser when the disaster occurred and businesses and residents far and wide donating to the cause.
"We had members manning a table in the Coles Complex collecting local donations," secretary Susan Eckford said.
The Club wanted to express their gratitude to everyone who donated so generously.
One hundred per cent of the donations received will be used to provide support to community members in the local government area of Lithgow who have lost their homes and need assistance as a result of the recent bush fires.

To be eligible for assistance you must demonstrate that the affected home is your principal place of residence and that the damage incurred was a direct result of the bush fires.
Funds will be managed and distributed free of any charge at the absolute discretion of the Lithgow Lions Club.
Requests for recovery assistance from the Lithgow Lions Club will cease on Tuesday, March 31.
