
A MAN has been charged over the alleged domestic-related murder of Jenoa Sutton in Lithgow nearly eight years ago.

Emergency services were called to a home on Macaulay Street in Lithgow at 4.15pm on March 8, 2012, after the body of 27-year-old Ms Sutton was located in the bathroom.
A post-mortem examination found she died of a head injury and drowning.
Detectives from the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad, together with Chifley Police District, established Strike Force Aubin to investigate the circumstances surrounding her death.

Following extensive investigations, strike force detectives arrested a 50-year-old man at a business in Katoomba just before 11am on Thursday.
He was taken to Katoomba Police Station and charged with murder.

The Bowenfels man was refused bail to appear at Penrith Local Court on Friday.
