In game one Jody Taggart had far too guns for Ted Doggett. Taggart lead 8-nil before Doggett got back to trail 8-3 but unfortunately that was as good as it got for Doggett as he went down 31-7.
Peter Matchett got the jump on Greg Anderson as he lead 3-nil in game two.
The next six ends saw Anderson lead 12-3 and he maintained that margin as he went on to win 31-23.
Game three saw Ross Harrington take on the more experienced Al Davies and it was Davies who got the best start. After being up 12-3 and the 15-4 Davies did what he had to do as he took the win 31-22.
Game four was a close one between Mike McNamara and Bruce Robinson.
McNamara went to an early 7-2 lead with Robinson playing catch up as he got to 14-11 down. Every time Robinson got close, McNamara picked up a couple of ends as he went on to win 31-19.
Game five's Kevin Pender looked good as he trailed 4-5 early but then was only looking on as George Braun 11 of the next 12 ends to win 31-17.
Peter Piggott showed why he is one of the best bowlers in the club as he defeated Tony Holden 31-9 in game six. Holden played some good bowls but was out played.
Once again one of our better bowlers showed their real form in game seven as Ian McMillan took on and beat Jason Nunan. McMillan was far too consistent as he played the big bowls when they were needed and he went on to win 31-8.

The Craig Brown versus Chris Neaves game was a beauty with some great bowls played. Brown lead 10-3 before Neaves leveled on 12-all, 13-all and 15-all.
Brown got to 19-15 but Neaves leveled 19-all. Brown then took seven ends straight to lead 30-19 before winning 31-22.
In the socials Craig Pugsley and Jannette Pender beat Judy Egan and Pommie Williams 22-15.
Arron Pender, Peter Williams and Kim Alexander came from 13-nil down to beat Greg Anderson, Ron Vidler and Kevin Pender 21-18.
This result meant that Pacey was the only Pender not to have a win on the day.
Winners on the day were Steve Jackson, Jed Fraser and Darrin Keygan who were far to good for Barry Jackson, Peter Matchett and Daryl McSorley. The score line of 35-15 was a true indication of the defeat.
The Thursday triples will be on again this week.
