Lithgow Arts Council held its Quarterly Awards for 2019 on Tuesday, December 10.
Lithgow Musical Society member Annika Della Bosca took the honours of the Junior Student award.
Annika has performed in a numbers of productions the latest being 'We Will Rock You'. She also performs in St Patrick's School productions and the school choir.
In the Adult awards, Sue and James Daley were awarded for their success in working with local artists and musicians to create the recent 'Garden of the Mind' production.
James presented the idea of the Mental Health Cabaret through LINC which formed the bases of the production.
Bruce Ryan was also awarded in the Adult awards. Bruce has been involved with Lithgow Musical Society for many years.
He has performed in 'Oliver', 'The Secret Garden', 'Les Miserable' and was extraordinary in his role as the captain in 'Titanic'. Bruce also worked as stage manager and helped with the construction of sets and props for many shows.
Danny Smith was also awarded. Danny has performed at local businesses including Vanilla Cafe and The Gaudry. He has also performed with carers from Glenray as well as with Martin Cook, the Mitchell Conservatory and at Uniting Care Coffee mornings.
Past member of Lithgow Musical Society Bev Coombs was also awarded for her performances.
Bev performs for the elderly in nursing homes, Gorrie Ban, the Joy's Singers and Springsong as well as in her church and Sunday School. She has also written scripts for Christmas items and shows.
Bev also participated in the recent 'Garden of the Mind' production.
The 2020 Quarterly Nominations presentations will be made in March, June, September, and December.
The Gala night will be held on February 28 at 7.30pm at the Lithgow Workies Club Showroom.
