A 38-year-old woman was issued with multiple infringement notices after taking police on a lunch time car chase through the Lithgow CBD on Wednesday, November 27.

The woman was stopped on the Great Western Highway in Lithgow by highway patrol officers in regards to a traffic offence. According to police, as the driver was being questioned, she drove away.
Highway patrol pursued the vehicle through a number of streets before she was finally stopped in Rabaul Street.
The woman was then issued with multiple infringement notices.
