The fire conditions are severe and a total fire ban has been put in place since midnight.
Heatwave conditions are expected in some areas over the state over the next few days, along with high winds.
Tuesday's temperatures is expected to reach 30 degrees, while Thursday is expected to be the hottest day this week at 34 degrees.
The total fire ban means no fire may be lit in the open and all fire permits are suspended.
A bush fire community meeting was held at Glen Davis hall on Monday to discuss the ongoing situation caused by the massive Gospers Mountain fire, which continues to burn out of control.
The active fire on the escarpment above these communities has progressed slowly through a hazard reduction area and is approximately 30 metres from the escarpment edge. The fire will be closely watched this week, with residents urged to put their Bushfire Survival Plan into effect.
