The Picnic Under the Stars event was a chance for drought effected farmers and residents of the region to get together.
It is just one in a series of drought relief social and community events organised by Lithgow City Council and Rural Adversity Mental Health Program.
Mayor Ray Thompson said he hoped everyone enjoyed the night.
"We are doing it tough right now, but I hope that everyone can leave tonight with a smile on their face," he said.

The night was funded by the Commonwealth Government's Drought Communities Program.
Children enjoyed live music and circus workshops while adults got a laugh from 10 comedians from Sydney as a way of lifting the spirits of those affected by drought.
The evening also included a fully catered dinner and lucky door prizes.
