Children have committed many hours to rehearsals and are eager for full dress rehearsals to begin.
Tickets are available from the school office or can be purchased at the door on the night.
With the warmer weather approaching it will soon be time to commence the Intensive Water Safety Program at the Portland Pool.
The school is particularly proud of this program which has been in operation for more than 15 years.
This ensures all children are water safe at St Joseph's School Portland.
The students are also very aware of the current drought that has gripped farmers across the region.
St Joseph's continue with their fundraising efforts to raise money for the Baradine Drought Pantry which opened a little more than 12 months ago. Sadly, the need is just as great now as it was then.

The school has also held meal deals of sausage sizzles, spaghetti, hot dogs and a pizza day.
'Iceblock Fridays' have also proved to be very popular with everyone at St Joseph's aware of those suffering in this time of drought.
Planning is also underway for the whole school excursion which will see students travel to Hill End to visit the History Hill Museum and try their hand gold panning and learning about the period of the gold rush in Australia.
St Joseph's School Portland is the only small Catholic Primary School at this South-Eastern end of the Bathurst Diocese.
The school is situated at the top of Convent Hill in Portland with magnificent views of the surrounding slopes - the students have the advantage of a well equipped playground and vibrant well organised classrooms.
The mission of St Joseph's is to provide a quality learning environment which gives witness to the Gospel values of love, respect and justice.
