The clinic was held to give some light in the Central West's dark drought period.
As hundreds of students from around the Central West went to gather at Glen Willow Stadium, some famous Australian sports stars joined them.
"As the 20 year anniversary was coming up, there was some talk about having a party or function and the decision was made that those options would be a waste of money and could be better spent celebrating with the people we have worked with for all of those years; kids," Macquarie Sports clinic coach Liz Ellis said.
Lithgow Public School teacher Mrs Picman said the students had a wonderful day.
"The day was organised extremely well and the famous sportspeople were wonderful with the students teaching them lots of tricks to help them with their favourite sports," she said.
"We just want to give a big thank you to Macquarie Sports for having us."
All the students that participated were provided with a sporting gift, along with signatures from the ambassadors and a barbecue lunch to finish the day.
Students from Cudgegong Valley Public School, Gulgong Public School, Lue Public School, Mudgee Public School, Hargraves Public School, Rylstone Public School, Kandos Public School, St Michael's School Dunedoo, Ulan Public School, Geurie Public School, Buninyong Public School, Coonamble Public School, Gilgandra Public School, Lithgow Public School, Mendooran Central School, Peak Hill Central School, Trangie Central School, Wallerawang Public School, Wellington Christian School, Wellington Public School, and Wongarbon Public School were in attendance.
