Graham "Boon" Haley scored one of his better bowls wins when he took on Chris Neaves in the latest round of club singles at Wallerawang.

Played in windy conditions and despite a rain break both players were on the ball early. It was 3 all then 6 all and finally 12 all.
Haley got to a 16-12 lead before Neaves hit the front 18-17. Losing 7 of the next 8 ends saw Neaves trail 19-28 with a win in sight for Haley.
Neaves had other ideas as he fought back to lead 30-28. Boon held his nerve to pick up a 3 to win 31-30.
In another game of singles between Peter B Piggott and Pommie Williams it was Piggott who had control of the game from start to finish.
After leading 3-1 early Williams could not match Piggott as he went on a 15 shot run.
The further the game went the better Piggott played and he ran out a 31-15 winner.
In the socials it was Portland's Ken Clarke showing his liking for the Wang green as he and Ray Palmer defeated Craig Pugsley and Judy Egan 23-12.
Dave Nunan made a welcome return to bowls when he partnered Mike McNamara to defeat Peter Matchett and Ron Vidler 18-14.
There was a game of triples featuring Kim Alexander Jeff Howden Craig Brown Jason Nunan and Ross Harrington.

Despite there being no card it is rumoured that despite Craig Brown playing left handed Nunan and Harrington dropped a nine to be well beaten.
With the pennant season starting on March, 3 we have teams in the 5's and the 7's and we need as many names as possible.
The teams should be picked and on the board this week.
Thursday Twilight's were on again last week and once again we were blessed by the weather so we will go around again this week. Don't forget names in by 4.30pm for a 5 o'clock start. All members and visitors are welcome to play.
