Someone who also appreciated the conditions was single event winner Rob George who produced one of his best rounds to finish with the excellent score of 43 points.
George also recorded the best C grade scratch score with a 88.
The two ball was won by Peter Thompson and Mark Willmott who was still basking in the glory of the Rabbitohs win the night before.
They combined for a score of 78 points.
Runners-up were Trevor Cameron and Ben Oldfield on 76 points.Grade scratch winners were: A grade: Darren Hunter 72 ocb; B grade, Kobe Hunter 81 and C grade Rob George 88.
Nearest the pins went to Peter Thompson, Geoff Brooks, Rod Clarke, Blake Bender and Darren Hunter.
The Ball competition cut out on 72 ocb.
Next Saturday (September 28) the event will be the popular monthly medals.
Wednesday (September 18) nine hole competition saw Craig Pugsley playing off 18 score 18 points to take out the voucher in tough conditions.
Friday (September 20) nine hole competition winner was a Don Lovett playing off a handicap of 34 who scored 30 points. Runner-up was Rod Bright (20) amassing 29 points.
Ball winners were Steve Cutler, Rob George, Brian Giblett and Paul Stewart.
