The true story stars two of the screen's biggest legends, Vivian Leigh and Laurence Olivier, which is based on one of history's most ill fated romances.
Leigh is stunning as the beautiful and determined Emma Hamilton, who raises herself from a background of poverty and obscurity to become the wife of an ambassador, the confidante of royalty and the mistress of one of the greatest men in history, Lord Admiral Nelson, played by Olivier, only to return from whence she came.
It is directed by the famous Alexander Korda.
Screenings will be held on Friday, September 13 at 10.30am and Sunday, September 15 at 2pm at the film society's Main Street cinema.
