With Council meetings now being live streamed, which I believe is a great thing for our local democracy, several residents have taken the time to contact me.
These residents specifically asked that their question be included in the monthly business papers so they can see the question answered and have it placed on public record.

At the past two Council meetings, some fellow Councillors complained that these Questions with Notice are a waste of time, and that they are possibly operational, requiring them to be dealt with by Administration.
In this wonderful world of democracy, Councillors are free to express an opinion. However, I strongly disagree with some of my fellow Councillors regarding this particular topic and won't be convinced otherwise.
I invite the wonderful residents of Lithgow to view the live steam of Lithgow City Council meetings on YouTube on the internet.
I choose to be your voice!
If you have a question, you have the option of asking me to place it on notice or having it answered by Council management privately.
As an elected representative who actively puts the resident at the heart of everything I do, I take this responsibility very seriously.
If you have a question please don't hesitate to contact me through your choice of email, phone call, text, Facebook message or carrier pigeon.
Your question, your choice on how it should be answered.
This is democracy at work.
