Martin Ticehurst who spoke at Lithgow City Council's public forum on Monday, August 26, urged councillors to investigate the issue and what sight distances would be required to make it safe for motorists.
"There are a lot of bends there that makes it quite hard for people to see oncoming traffic," he said.
"I understand that some of the smaller tourist buses are using that road... they come down to have a look at the valley and it might be a bit dangerous with that sort of traffic going up and down."
