Daniela Kerr and her son Harrison have been amongst the first to use the app to help them prepare for their NDIS journey.

"Like many parents we are juggling work, school and children, but in our family we also have to cope with applying for the NDIS," Daniela said.

"Planning on an app meant all our paperwork was in one place. We could go in and update information at any time during the day."

In addition to helping people prepare for their first NDIS meeting, the app can be used to track NDIS goals, and participants can upload documents or photos to demonstrate their progress towards each of their goals.

Daniela encouraged others about to embark on their NDIS journey or who are struggling to keep on top of annual plan reviews to consider using the Blue Care NDIS planning app.

"Look at the planning app because it's certainly going to make your life a lot easier in preparing for your journey and your planning meeting," she said.

"If I didn't have the app I'd be going in there only half organised and forgetting all my paperwork."
