Carpet One Lithgow owner Dean Barrie said looking back over previous years, this year was one to remember.
"It was massive, we had all grades there on the day and there was people everywhere," he said.
He also said the feedback from visitors was great.
"Everyone kept saying 'why doesn't every club do something like this?'," he said.
Barrie also said local NRL development officer Dave Elvey was there on the day, handing out goodies and medals to the participants.

"He was thrilled that the kids were wearing the gear he handed out, all of them got something," he said.
He said Elvey was also in conversations with NRL and the Penrith Panthers to get a possible signing session at next year's carnival.
"We're going to try get a Panthers player to come up and do some autographs and we might even be able to get the kids a ticket to a Panthers game," Barrie said.
He said the Carpet One Cup would continue to grow and get better each year.
"This year was the best year yet, the event was really well promoted, and there were people enjoying some good footy. I look forward to next year already," he said.
Barrie also thanked the Storm committee for their hard work in organising raffles and the canteen.
This year's major raffle prize, a signed Melbourne Storm jersey by Billy Slater, Cameron Smith and Cooper Cronk donated by Carpet One Lithgow was won by Ben Spittles.
