Ayden Crane is one of many students enjoying work experience. He is at Lithgow's PCYC and says it's a fun place with nice people. He said there was a lot to learn.
"The first day was a bit hectic, but after the first day it was calmer," he said.
Ayden had a lot of responsibilities, including booking people in for classes and helping with parkour activities. He said for the job he needs to be approachable.
"It's been fun," he said.
Ayden's club manager Dayne Walker said it was important for students to complete work experience.
"It's a good thing for them to understand about the real world," he said.
"It gives them that little taste-tester of life after school and potentially what industry they want to find employment in in the future."
Nearby, Braxton Morgan is enjoying work experience at Kables Auto Electrics. He is an assistant to the owner Mick Kable.
