Mr Burrows, 58, was killed when an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded outside his mother's garage near Villiers Street in July 2015.
Paul John Fitzpatrick, 73 was taken into custody on December 13, 2017 and charged with the murder.
A NSW Supreme Court jury retired to consider its verdict in Bathurst last Wednesday, July 24.
The jury returned on Monday, July 29 to deliver its not guilty finding.
