He has showed all of his vast experience winning in all sorts of conditions and again on Saturday he mastered the heavy early morning frost to record a brilliant 66 nett. His score gave him the A grade winning voucher and the July monthly medal.
Runner up on 71 nett was Blake Bender while the best A grade scratch score went to Steve Hall on 73.
The B grade handicap and medal winner was this year's Zig Zag Motel Winter Cup winner John Bird with 70 nett on a countback.
Runner up was Mark Willmott also on 70 nett and the pair will play off next month for the July medal.
Best scratch score went to Greg Guest with 82.
C grader Peter Haley picked up the medal and handicap win with a score of 71. Runner up was Dick Mara on 72 nett with the best scratch score in this grade going to Paul Bailey on 95.
Nearest the pins were picked up by Blake Bender, Max Nightingale, Michael Hunter, Mitch Luka and John Bird.
Other golfers to play well and figure in the Ball competition were Troy Luka, Greg Guest, Jeff Geddes, Brian Judge, Travis Cameron, Dave Titcume, Steve Hall, Dave Thompson and Peter Thompson. Balls cut out on 72 ocb.
Next Saturday's event will be a single stableford.
