The Lithgow region is expected to receive snow on Saturday, if the Bureau of Meteorology's weather prediction comes true.

The bureau is forecasting a small chance of snow to start falling at 4am on the morning of July 13 at Jenolan Caves and Mount Canobolas in Orange.
The snow fall is expected to be at its greatest by 7am. Falls are predicted in and around Jenolan Caves, Shooters Hill and Black Springs, Oberon, Orange and Crookwell.
The majority of snow is forecast to fall in and around Orange and Blayney by 10am and set to ease up by 4pm.
Lithgow's expected to have a frosty start to hump day with a low of -1 on Wednesday and will scrape into double figures.
Thursday will be a windy one and partly cloudy with a chance of showers in the south and a top of nine degrees.
Heading into the weekend a partly cloudy Friday will reach a high of 10 with the temperature expected to plummet to seven on Saturday.
It will be a frosty start to next week with a morning frost expected on Sunday with a low of -4 and a maximum of nine.
