None of the properties in Bathurst Road and on Cox Avenue reached the reserve.
However Mr Blowes, the principal of Blowes Real Estate said offers had been submitted after the auctions.
"I am confident something will happen by the end of next week," he said.
"There is an offer for the whole four properties and there is an offer for the two Cox Avenue properties. They have made offers and the owners are considering those."
Mr Blowes said the houses were owned by one company.
Businessman Rex D'Aquino is the sole director and secretary of the Fernbrew venture which has been placed in liquidation owing at least $87 million in tax.
Mr Blowes said the price guide for each of the properties before the auction was $270,000-$290,000.
The two Bathurst Road houses have the unique P&O Liner style frontage.
