The prestigious Lithgow scholarship provides up to $30,000 to help aspiring students cover the cost of their studies. It is also open to those who have recently started their course.
Trustees will seek to award the scholarship to one or more individuals who wish to contribute to the betterment of society through their future career.
In 2019, the scholarship was jointly awarded to former students of St Stanislaus College, Oliver O'Toole, and La Salle Academy, Callum Woodrow, from a field of quality candidates.
Previous winners of the scholarship have completed their secondary schooling at various institutions including Lithgow High School, La Salle Academy, Lithgow TAFE, St Stanislaus' College, The Scots School and Blue Mountains Grammar.
Applications close on Friday, August 9. Applications can be downloaded from the scholarship website.
Applications are to be either posted or emailed to the Scholarship Secretary, Helen Lee, 18 Blaxland Street, Hunters Hill, NSW 2110 or help@hoskinslithgowscholarship.org.au
Applications must be postmarked and emails must be sent no later than 5pm on Friday, August 9. An interview process will follow.
