While its official launch has been delayed due to continued building works, centre manager Andrew Meenahan said its programs would soon be up and running.
An official opening and public tours would then be held at a later date.
Year 9 students from high schools in Portland, Lithgow and Katoomba will also be taking part in an upcoming youth forum as part of Headspace's launch in the region.
