The photos are labelled Roy and Eileen Pearce, Lithgow, who operated a photographic studio in Lithgow for many years, specialising in weddings and portrait photos.
Denise Pearce, who after the death of her father discovered about 70 large photographs mounted on card that he had kept for nearly fifty years, approached Colleen, a long-time employee of Bracey and later other ladies fashion outlets, to assist with a request.

Denise hopes that the photos will be passed on to the people in the photos or their closest family members. Many of the photos are hand coloured, an art that is seldom used by the photographers of today with easy access to computer program that allow enhancement of photographs not dreamed of in the 1960s.
Colleen had already discovered the identity of the people in 19 of the photos entrusted to her by Denise. The Society has scanned the remaining photographs and posted them on the Society's Facebook page in the hope of identifying the subjects and finding out further details of the event and the people in the photographs.
The Society will be pleased to pass on the photographs to the families in accordance with Denise Pearce's wishes.
