In Rugby League the Bears had a rough day going down 58 to 6 to CSU Mungoes.
Players player was shared between Luke Amos and Ben Beecroft.
Coaches award went to Tyrone lyvidikos, three crowd points went to Kaleb Richey, two points to Ben Beecroft and one point to Austin king.
Coach Blake Collins said his team showed some positive signs in the first half with only a few minor setbacks.
"We let ourselves down with a few soft penalties that saw CSU cross our try line twice," he said.
In the last ten minutes of the first half the Bears lifted their game and had a lot of momentum but were unsuccessful in completing their sets.
"We went into the sheds with full confidence but in the second half we just lost our way, we stopped communicating and that made a big difference," Collins said.
Bears saw Ben Blanchard sent off for the rest of the game and Kaleb Richey got 10 in the bin leaving the team to struggle in defence.
"Richey was having a strong tackling game and communicating well so it was unfortunate for the time we lost him," Collins said.
He said Tyrone lyvidikos also had a blinder busting it up through the middle every chance he could.
