Beryl Evans, Ruth Harries and Kathy Kenniff defeated Lyn Green, Cynthia Thornton and Barbara Watters.
Even though Beryl's team won by a comfortable margin, this did not reflect the calibre of bowls that was being played out on the green.
Beryl, Ruth and Kathy are off to Windsor in July for the regionals, along with Sue Metcalf, Ruth Harries, Irene Piasovili and Wendy Constable (Lithgow Workies senior fours); Fay King, Pam Johnson, Danielle Maurschko and Lyn Bulkeley (Lithgow City open fours); Mona Soergel and Julie Watson (Lawson open pairs); Pauline Clark and Merle Stephens (Majellan senior pairs); and Merle Stephens (Majellan singles).
