Three principals, including Ms Caro, were invited to reflect on leadership and transformation of schools during a panel discussion.
Ms Caro's leadership qualities were recently recognised with a Harvard Club of Australia Principals Scholarship.
The Orange gathering was one of 12 forums for public school principals conducted across regional and metropolitan NSW.
Department of Education Secretary Mark Scott told the Western NSW Education Forum that the vision to create one of the finest education systems in the world would be realised with their ongoing dedication to improvement and transformation.
