Weather services are still predicting snow falls above 1100m may occur on Friday evening, despite snow clouds disappearing from the Bureau of Meteorology's MetEye map.
Earlier this week, it was predicted that snow may fall down to 900m on Friday between Bathurst and Lithgow, at Shooters Hill and around Oberon and the Jenolan Caves area.
Lithgow certainly had a chilly day on Friday, with temperatures topping out at 13 degrees and showers throughout the day to make sure it never felt any warmer than that.
Heading into the weekend, it is expected to be partly cloudy and a top of 11 degrees on Saturday, with an overnight low of 1 (rug up for LithGlow) and a clear, sunny 16 on Sunday.
