WHERE: Lithgow's Blast Furnace Park off Inch Street, Lithgow.
WHEN: Saturday, May 11, from 5pm.
COST: Free
FOOD: The night market features a host of gourmet treats and sweet delights for purchase.
ENTERTAINMENT: A spectacular projection and laser show will be held from 6pm. The Laservision show will recount some Lithgow's history on the Blast Furnace walls. Read more about the show here. Watch out for wandering performers around the grounds and a daredevil showing from the Fire Sisters throughout the evening.
WEATHER: Rug up, it's going to be chilly, with a top temperature of 11 degrees for the day.
HOW TO GET THERE
BUS: A free shuttle bus service will be operating on the night between National Australia Bank, Helloworld/Lithgow Railway Station and Pioneer Park bus stops and Lithgow Blast Furnace Park during the event. The bus service will be approximately every 10 minutes from 5pm-10pm and will drop people right into the heart of LithGlow. Both buses will be wheelchair/pram friendly.
CAR: Note there will be a change of traffic conditions along Inch Street from 3pm-11pm, with a detour in place on Inch Street at Bennett Street and Donald Streets to allow for additional event parking traffic.
ON FOOT: You can walk to the Blast Furnace site, which is about 2.2km from Queen Elizabeth Park. It will take about 26 minutes (remember to rug up).
